Portable aluminum ladders
Use:
Portable ladders are devices that have rungs or steps on which the user can climb, descend or stand for short periods of time and that allow users to reach the work site at a height and also step off onto the roof. These ladders can therefore be considered permanent or non-permanent access routes, according to whether they are left attached to the building.
Portable ladders are classified under standard UNI EN 131 “by type” based on their geometric configuration and constituent elements.
HBSecurity offers portable rung ladders used with the Ladder Hooks that attach them to the step-off point, to be used as access routes to at height work sites, of the following types:
- Basic leaning single section ladders
- Leaning ladders with multiple grafting sections
- Extension leaning ladders with multiple (push-up or rope-operated) sections
Features:
Ergonomically designed and sturdy aluminum ladder. Square section 30x30 rungs with anti-slip surface. Rung-to-upright attachment with double internal and external tailing onto the vertical upright. Caps on ends with anti-slip surface as per Leg. Decree No. 81. Ladder base stabilizer as per EN 131.
The ladder can be used with all Ladder Hook models made by HBSecurity. The ladder allows the installation of the Secure Climbing device.
Marking:
Portable ladders to be used as work equipment must be marked as per Leg. Decree No. 81/08 or as per UNI EN 131 and, in this case, must also meet the requirements indicated in Annex XX of Leg. Decree No. 81/08.
